Joel Paul is a green woodworker and teacher with a varied approach to his craft. Using traditional hand tools Paul carves bowls, spoons and other woodenware. The winning bidder and their guests will be taught safety and knife grip instruction as well as a demonstration of roughing out spoon blanks with an axe. Students will be able to practice on birch before beginning to carve out their own eating or cooking spoon.
